We just bought our Jayflight. How long should I expect the Goodyear tires to last on our new trailer?

Regardless of mileage, the general rule of thumb is 3-5 years.

With cars, the tires on the vehicle when you buy it new don't seem to last long. Is it the same with trailer tires or are the Good years that Jayco puts on the same quality as the Good years you buy to replace?

I really don’t know. I had Rainier China bombs on mine which I promptly replaced with Sailun G rated tires. I haven’t had “good” tires from the factory on any trailer I’ve owned so I couldn’t tell you how well they last.
The best way to prolong the life of your trailer tires is to keep them out of the sun as much as possible. Indoor storage obviously is best. If stored outside, tire covers help a lot. Also, use some protectant like 303 aerospace that has UV blockers in it. DO NOT use armor all

Goodyear endurance for the win
Very pleased with my set. Got new wheels to go with the increased size. Big 2000 mile trip coming soon.

I just replaced my Rainiers with Carlisle Radial HD. They have really good reviews on the RV forums from what I read and I ordered them online at Walmart.com for $67.00 each.
I went from range D to E.
I just came back yesterday from a 5500km trip from Ontario to Florida, the tires were great. I was so concerned about the 3 year old Rainiers, I didn't want to take a chance.
$67.00 for Load range E, 15" tires seemed well worth it. Got them mounted for $80.
Here's a link to the ones I bought. Date stamp was 4 months old, not bad.

Just went from those to the Goodyear’s. You’re describing exactly what I noticed as well. I put 8,500 miles on them with 0 issues.
Only reason why I upgraded was for the larger set up.
Great tire the Carlisle

Best tires
This will the 3rd season my 2017 28BHBE is on the original Rainier Tires. The towmax tires are the ones a lot of people complained about. No plans to switch out the Rainier tires this season.

I’ve never heard the Rainier tires called China bombs... the Towmax tires were called China bombs. I haven’t read on here about Rainier tires falling apart. I’m starting my 3rd season on the original Rainier tires on my 2017 28BHBE. I’d change mine if there are people on here having premature issues with them on here...

For your size trailer, they’re probably fine. But when you get them on the bigger fifth wheels like the North Point or designer, they’re really not up to the task.
They’re probably not as bad as “blowmax” China bombs but if you dig a little deeper you’ll find they’re not that great either.

If you search the forum, there are a few posts on here of people having blowouts or developing bubbles on their sidewalls.
