The rack is bolted to the frame in six places.

I have the slide out bike tray on my TT. I used heavy duty pipe insulation to pad the tubular upright. I have carried 3 bikes on the bike tray, over 3,000 miles with no damage to them. I use bungy cords and cargo starps to secure them.

I heard at the dealer this weekend that Jayco will be going with a optional receiver hitch on the rear of the trailer rather than the cargo tray. Maybe this thread is why?

It could be they listened to us and if they see there is a demand they should act before the competition does if they haven't already.

After using the " Bike tray" on my Eagle, it did mark up the bikes. i installed a bike rack on the 4x4 bumper, and it works much better, I think Jayco could greatly improve this so called bike rack. Make sure your bikes & rack does not exceed 100lbs for the bumper.

That is very interesting! Also figures they would come out with something better after I have already purchased. Will wait and see what its like, I hope they come up with a design that works.
