Bike rack for rear of our Eagle

Hello All, anyone have any experience in installing a class 3 receiver on the rear of your Jayco to slide a bike rack into? My Eagle has brackets welded to the frame to install the pull out steel shelf but elected not to get that due the weight of it. Was thinking of utilizing those brackets to install a class 3 hitch to install my bike rack. There's bike racks that bolt to the rear bumper but heard of horrific experiences of rear bumpers coming off while going down the highway. Any ideas? Thanks

I had the receiver tube welded to the bumper, then braced out to the frame with square tube. The weight isn't so much an issue as the constant bouncing. It works if it's done right.

I had a receiver mounted to my frame. I think it was $375 installed by a local respected hitch/welding company. I installed the following bike/rack. It has worked great for us. Really strong, but it will adjust the weight on the front of the trailer a lot more than you might expect.
