Black streaks - dirty, ugly, nasty ones with an attitude

Tried to no avail:
Green Cleaner (or whatever that green junk is called) in every conceivable concentration. ****/, I've considered dehydrating the stuff to increase the concentration!
Black Streak Remover from Campco
Water
Turtle wax car wax
Cleansing Bubbles
KLR or KCR or whatever the heck it is that removes lime & rust
Armor All Green car wash (because I shall care about the environment)
Soft Scrub (which is by far the best solution thus far if only I had 10 gallons of the stuff)
NO BLEACH
....

Probably a few others along the line.

Can anyone help? Please don't tell me it's as simple as vinegar & water or I'll probably just go drive my TV through the **** thing.

These little streaks are driving me nuts and they look like a mess.

Meguire's Cleaner Wax has worked for me in the past. But IMO, it's too hard to apply over large areas, and I have a very large trailer.

So, it looks like you have the aluminum siding like we do. If not, this will still work. I had the same annoying black streaks you are talking about. First thing you have to do if you haven't already, wash the roof. That's where a lot of it comes from. Then what we did was use the black streak remover you already tried. We sprayed it on directly to the area, let it sit for about 3-5 minutes. We then scrubbed it with a wash brush. It worked!! Once it's gone put a good coat of wax on and it'll be much easier to get rid of the streaks.

You left off the single most important ingredient- Elbow Grease.
I've never found a truly easy way and I've tried all the suggestions above.
Part of the problem is that not all black streaks are created equal. I think it depends on how much Road oil grease and tar is in the mix.

Stubborn black streaks will come off with WD-40... The best way to keep black streaks off of a trailer is to clean them off when they first appear..... I use Simple Green with good success, as long as I catch them early. Otherwise a little WD-40 and they are gone.

Our old trailer was a 2002 model aluminum sided trailer. When we sold it in 2012 it had zero black streaks on it....

x2 for Awesome cleaner. It's a buck at the dollar tree. Smells like ammonia. Cleans all kinds of stuff that other cleaners don't budge.

Awesome Orange from the dollar store- best thing I've found so far. And it smells good as well.

Keep in mind it will strip the wax as well. I try to keep it off of the decals and stickers, not sure if it will hurt them or not- it hasn't so far.

Elbow grease? Not when you use totally awesome.

Well maybe just a little elbow grease... Only the amount it takes to go over it with a car wash brush a couple of times.

I just cleaned the streaks tonight... Took maybe 5 minutes a side.

LA's Totally Awesome cleaner is the best thing I've used... And it's only a buck!

I use "Spray Power" by Crown. I purchase it at Menards. Use it full strengrh, do not dilute. Spray it on and the black streaks slides off, also works great to remove bugs from the front cap. No scrubbing required.

Crown, makes a black streak version, but I only use the standard stuff.

Tried everything I could then, someone on this site recommended Totally Awesome cleaner, went to dollar store and picked up a 32 oz bottle for $1. Spray on the soot and it wiped right off. Black streaks come right off as well as mildew. When I wash my TT, I pour 1/2 a bottle into a bucket with cold water and use a soft auto brush. Black streaks come right off without scrubbing. I used it before it got popular actually. We used it at work to take bin numbers off metal (written with a Sharpie) and it worked incredibly good. Then decided to try it on the pop-up we had and it blew me away. Hard, tough black stains around the trim that I worked on for hours came off in minutes with that stuff. Highly recommend!

I assume you are talking about streaks on the sides of your camper. I used multiple Magic Erasers, water and elbow grease and my tired old 1990 Jay Series Deluxe looks 100% better!

You need a degreaser. Spray it on with the surface dry and wipe it then hose it off. We have the same black streak issues on boats and degreaser is the only thing that really works.

I use Super Spray Cleaner from "The Reliable 1" - get it at the local RV place... I spray it on full strength and let it work for a minute or two, then use my soft carwash brush to scrub them right off. I do it before washing the entire trailer with carwash soap.

AWESOME, you can get it at dollar stores and Wal Mart. works great. Then apply a coat of wax. Now when I park my trailer I make sure the front end is higher than the back.
