Personally, I'd try to clean your existing probes before spending the time or $ replacing them.

I can see straight down through the toilet if I need to determine how full the tank is if I doubt the sensors.

yea not sure i would pull theme out just to clean them.

I meant not to pull them, but to clean the tank with soap or chemicals to improve the sensor signal.

If it's already been mentioned, sorry but I've also read where you can take a bag or two of ice, put it in the toilet and while underway, let the ice clean the tank sidewalls and sensors. I've never done it but I can see how it might work.
