Black tank didn't empty?

We have only taken 1 trip in this camper. I emptied the black tank into the sewer hookup at our campsite (at least I thought) and then emptied the grey water. Once I was home I realized I never checked the control panel...the black was still full?! I looked in the toilet and sure enough, it was still full. We are camping Halloween weekend so I plan on emptying it there, I also ordered a dual flush pro for the draining. Any other advice from anyone one? I assume maybe a clog?

Sounds like a clog, but you will have to hook up to know for sure. Possible if it has sat for a while some of the clog may have dissolved so it will come right out. Just be a little cautious with the back flow devices. You just dont want to accidents push anything up the vent pipe by overfilling the black tank.

The drive home should shake things loose. Dump it at your next stop and put a few gallons of water down the toilet and dump that as well. It will clear up.

This happened to me on our last trip. We had our grandson with us. A few times he had used a napkin to blow his nose. He would then put it in the toilet and flush it. Sometimes I hate the foot flush toilet. Makes it so easy a two year old can do it. It made it a challenge but I got it cleared.

Atlantic City North Family Campground, New Gretna.(Pinelands) Small pool, but owners and staff are super nice! Large sites, pull throughs, and many activities. Very dog friendly.

It's the next town over. It's located in bass river state forest.

I've also had t.p. or something get stuck on the sensor before and it would give a false reading. I've also found that the ride home will give you additional "sludge" that accumulates from the inside of your tank as everything sloshes around. I started cleaning out the black tank once I got home as well and couldn't believe all the extra "honey" that came out. Wouldn't want to leave all that in there for extended sits that's for sure!
