black tank handle is really hard to pull

Have a new 32 ft G2, its a great trailer. Came with insullation package underneath. My grey tank handle is very accessable and pulls easy. The black tank handle goes up over the plumbimg pipe, through the insullation and is very hard to pull out. Anyone else have this issue and or how can I fix it??

Thanks,

Jeff

If the handle is still hard to pull open after properly emptying the tank a couple of times, I would take it back to the dealer. The valve is a simple device made out of plastic components sandwiched together with an O-ring and it could be defective, or the assembly screws are to tight. There are also RV lubricants that can be added to the RV tanks that are designed for these valves as well.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Jeff! We have to pull a little harder on our black handle then we do with the grey. It seems that the black is even more difficult to push in. Ours is easy to get to though
