I just blew the water out with the air compressor. I hope that works and everything is good.
Not sure how to use antifreeze for that line.

For winterizing I blow mine out w/ air.

If you’re seasonal where the camper never moves, flushing the tank is a must imo. No driving, so nothing ever gets sloshed around. Flush, fill, repeat work for me. Tank gauge is as accurate as day one.

I will add flush line to winterizing routine next season. While a bit hesitant to even use this system for fear of the valve replacement exercise, it does make a lot of sense to keep that tank as clean as possible.

I do the same thing because I have found if I shut the valve it cleans it out much better. You will be surprised how much crap comes out after letting the tank fill a little than just running it with valve open. Yuck

Could you please explain this a bit more. How do you see a hose connection that is enclosed in the underbelly? I'm brand new and I just may not be "getting it".

You can buy a clear elbow that attaches to the drain so you can see the water getting clearer as you flush the tank.

The "clear elbow" attaches to the drain. The drain can be located by looking on either side of your trailer and locating a "round cover or cap" that is about 4" in diameter. The drain is where you hook up your RV to the sewer at a campground. Hope this helps and we all understand being new.

I have a 2016 Starcraft 5th wheel. Does anyone know if there is a black water tank flush setting on the plumbing panel in the port-side trunk??

The black tank flush is one of the BIGGEST little features of a camper. When I'm presenting a camper to a customer I give that alot of attention.
