I have a Jay Flight SLX 212QBW and the black tank sensor seems to go from 1/3 to full very quickly. If I then dump the tank, the sensor still reads full. However, if I connect a hose to the cleanout connection and run some water through it, afterward it reads empty. But the nest time it gets to full again, same issues. I have smaller tanks and never know where I am at. A bit concerning.

Hmm, never thought about black tank water evaporating out the vent. I put in about 3 gals. of water along w/ Happy Camper and Calgon every time I dump, including when I tuck it away in storage, and it does get hot here in the summer. Haven't had any problems yet, that I'm aware of anyway. We have only a 32 gal. black tank so adding anymore just takes up too much capacity, especially if going to a park w/o full hookups.

Had a problem black tank was not venting, almost 3 years old.Filled the black tank with the garden hose 3 times.Let it set a couple hours each time. Finally on third dump all clear water. may help your sensor problem. Thanks
