Blind/dining table question

Just getting the new Jay Flight 23rb ready to go on Thursday or Friday. It seems you can't pull the blind all the way closed without the table top getting in the way. Am I doing something wrong or is it a design flaw? I guess we'll travel with the blind above the table height but I think I can squeeze it all the way down at night but I think the table would damage the blind in transit if it were all the way down.

Anyone else come up with this issue? And, if so, did you find a way to correct it?

We have the same type of issue with our 19RD. We leave the blind up during travel. Just for grins, check the table for center. I'm assuming the table has one or two posts to mount to floor(?). That is lift it out and turn 180 degrees and set back in place, just in case the mounts are off a tad from the factory.

I'll do that but the side of the table that faces the window is kind of square-shaped where the other end is rounded. Thought about taking the table top back to the dealer and having them move the upper brackets that the two legs fit into to move it out away from the window an inch or so. Not sure why we didn't notice this to start with. New traileritis, I guess!

We can't always see everything amiss with our campers right away. If we did, there would be nothing to putter with on weekends!!

Our dealer recommends traveling with the blinds open as he says the bang around when closed.

The window blind in our 22FB is just like that. I have to really work at it to get it all the way down simply because it's so hard to reach.

I think it will cause the strings to weaken if they're bouncing around in the down position. Also when you drive through a border patrol checkpoint, the agents can see you have nothing to hide.

Actually you put more stress on the blind when it's up and all the weight is in one spot. With the blind is down the weight and stress are spread out much more. Whether they are up or down the blinds are going to bang around.

Factory suggested to leave shaded up when traveling. Weight is the same up or down but as was said it doesn't bounce around when up.

We always left the blinds all the way up when traveling with our 25RKS. Of course now that we've gone to a Class C, we hear every squeak and rattle! lol
