Blinking Gas light on fridge

Ok, here's the scenario. When I hooked up my trailer to get it out of storage, I turned on the propane and the fridge. The Gas light went on and stayed on, no blinking.

Now I am at home and I have it hooked up to shore power. The gas light is now blinking. The green light on top of it is on. The fridge is still getting cold. If I switch the button to gas only, the gas light still blinks. I think it is because the trailer is on the street and it is on a slight angle to the right. Could that be the reason the gas light is blinking? If I level it with some boards, will it stop the light from blinking. I know I still have propane in the tanks.

Try turning the On/Off switch off for about 5 seconds then turn back on. I have had this happen and after I do that everything is ok.

As stated above, the flashing light means it didn't light on propane. I bleed the propane lines by attempting to light the stove top until it finally lights, then when i start the fridge, it lights on the first try. My propane lines bleed down while it sits in storage.

rescuebub speaks the truth. Bleed your line before attempting to start the furnace, fridge or water heater for best results.

Thanks Guys. I turned it off then turned it back on again in gas mode and it stayed on. Then I switched it to Auto and it stayed on. Awesome help you all. Thanks!

My family had a similar issue with our Norcold fridge. On our way to the mountains the fridge worked while on Propane but when we got it to the camping site (no hookups) it wouldn't light on propane. I could manually start it with a lighter but it wouldn't start on it's own (plenty of charge in the battery too). The irony is that when we got the camper back home, the fridge would start just fine on propane.

The only thing I could think of was either the higher elevation where we were camping (7,500 feet) prevented the starter from working properly or something during the travel broke and then fixed the fridge. Anyone else seen this issue?

I have the same problem. Now I just light a burner on the stove which normally takes a few minutes to bleed the air out, before I turn on the fridge or light the hot water heater. No problems after that. I usually do all this at home a day before we go out and leave the fridge on for a day to cool it down.
