Blowing out water lines?
When blowing out the lines, do you just open all the faucets?

I do one at a time, but I always leave one open before switching to the next faucet and then go back and close the previous...just so the air pressure doesn't build up too much.

I just set the output on the compressor tank to 45psi which is more than PEX friendly then open and close as I go along, no need to worry about to much pressure and it blows out most of the water.

Bookemdanno has good, cautious safe advice. I also agree with Sundancer330.

I always go around and open/close all the faucets, toilets, shower/tub, then after all those are done open the low point drains, dump some antifreeze in all traps and call it good

What little water that's in the lines is blowing into your tank (gray/black). That's why you need to pour RV Antifreeze into the drains. It'll help keep the liquid in the tanks from freezing.

That's what I do, too, starting from the fixture furthest from the city water connection, and working my way back, so the low point drain is the last one. I keep each faucet open until it stops spitting, and then I do it again once I've done everything. Winters around here can get pretty cold for extended periods of time, so the few extra steps and extra time during winterizing is nothing compared to having to fix a burst water line in the spring.
