Blue Ox SwayPro Hitch.... Need recommendations /advice?

Hey everyone....we bought a new 2013 314BDS yesterday and need to upgrade our WDH (dealer is storing the TT over the winter). The RV dealer wants to sell us a Blue Ox Swaypro BXW1500 for our TV ... 2008 Tundra Crewmax 4x4 come spring. We had an 10k lbs Equalizer WDH on our old 28BHS that worked well but don't know anything about the Blue OX WDH. I am hoping folks on this forum can provide some feedback on this hitch compared to the Equalizer hitch (that I am used to) or other WDH brands. The dealer is charging us $475 for this WDH installed which I thought is not a bad price but I need more information on this hitch before I buy it. Thanks in advance.

Well, thought i provide an update to this thread as there were no responses. I guess no one here has a Blue Ox WDH? We went ahead and got the Blue Ox WDH that the dealer installed and it works great. No more noises from the WDH like the Equalizer WDH. The Blue Ox emits no noise at all! I have towed twice with it about 400 miles through a storm with 25 - 40 mile per hour winds and sure the trailer was knocked around which caused the tow vehicle to squrim a bit but overall it kept it alll under control at highway speeds of 60 - 65 mph. Overall, pretty satisfied with the Blue OX and the setup is is to put on and take off compared to the Equalizer.

Interesting, thank you for the update - I'm not familiar with the Blue Ox WDH at all, so there wasn't much for me to contribute to your original post. It's good to know that it seems to work well for you!
