We own a 2015 27RLS and really enjoy it. The 2016 version is about 2 feet longer at 31' 9" and it is heavier and I'm sure very nice. We like the 30 foot 2015 27 RLS, because it is not as heavy and towes well behind my 2014 f150 ecoboost Max Tow. On the 27RLS, The entry through the bathroom into the bedroom is not an issue for us. We thought originally it might be an issue for us but we found we like it. The 28RLS is even bigger, heavier and now probably requires at least a 3/4 ton truck to handle it. The 27RLS has tons more storage because of the bathroom/bedroom design. The 28RLS has a hallway instead of going through the bathroom to get to the bedroom, but in doing so lost much if not most of the valuable storage space in the 27RLS design. I'm glad I purchased the 2015 version. The 2016 version is great too! The new replacement 28RLS will be lacking lots of valuable storage space and will probably require a 3/4 ton capacity truck to tow it (I saw some specs on a dealer web site). Oh, also, I trade every two to three years. Jayco seems to be moving these Jayflight units to the 3/4 ton range. I'm probably going to have to buy a 3/4 ton truck now in order to handle a Jayflight of our interest or go to the competition. I'm not in the market for a 3/4 ton truck. I've owned a 3/4 ton gas F250 and two 1 ton F350 trucks. They tow fifth wheels and trailers very well, but they are big. I really like my 2014 f150 ecoboost Max tow truck.
