I have an old pic somewhere of a home made addition to a travel trailer that had a similar modification. I may have to do some searching for it.

I have seen that one. The one I was looking at was a company, bpconversions.com . It hooks on to the front of the trailer without cutting or welding. The only thing that keeps me from doing this is it sticks out 8 feet in front of the trailer, and the wife doesn’t like the look. LOL

Seems like it would make your trailer awfully long to fit into many campsites.

I can't put my finger on it but something just doesn't seem right about this. I am no structural engineer but I would not do this...

Now the entire tongue weight is in your truck bed. No benefit of a WDH.

Just like a fifth wheel so no need for WDH. There is no fulcrum action taking weight off the front axle.
