Question Brake job

It's been 3 years and I've put a lot of miles on my trailer. I'm about to repack the hubs and figure I should replace brake pads/shoes as well.

Is there any way to figure out which ones to buy without removing the tires first?

I keep the trailer in storage and will have to tow it home and work from the curb in front of my house. Would prefer to order parts first, and then tow it home and start working on it.

hmmm, ok. Back I go again to crawl under with a phone camera! LOL! I guess I should have done that earlier when I was looking at the label on the Axle.

Sorry

I'm dealing with a brand new trailer

The dealer says it not the trailer brakes. I went under my trailer and took a picture and called dexter.

They told me it's the trailer, tomorrow I'm going test the brakes on the highway.

So... I went under there again. No markings other than an etching that says “TruRyde”. That’s it. Took pictures all around with flash just to be sure.

I’m stumped.

I checked the Lippert website and it doesn’t have a brake assembly that matches for a 4400 lb axle. There is an assembly for a range of 3,000 to 7,000 lbs, but they still want you to pick a size in the options for that product. I am lost.

At this point all I can think to do is take it home, pull it apart, and see what’s inside. A quick measurement with a ruler once I’ve exposed brake pads will do it, but then I will have the hubs off and no parts to replace with.

https://store.lci1.com/forward-self-...elf-brake.html

Thats the site I’m looking at.

Also, it sure if I have “forward self-adjusting brakes”, but that’s the only category that had something that looked relevant.

No problems. I think I’ve got the parts identified now. Thanks!
