Brand new to camping, dumb question

I've done some searching, but I can't seem to find what I need. We just bought a 32BHDS and I noticed that the radio display stays on. Won't this kill the battery eventually? I've flipped all the breakers to off, and it stayed on. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks!

Isn't there a power button on it?

No, you're not missing anything, it runs off the 12V battery. That and the CO detector always stay on. I have heard that some on this site Cut the power wire to the radio and put in a switch. Been contemplating that idea myself.
Welcome to the Forum. But as you will hear, there are no Dumb questions just a great group of people who will be happy to help out. All of us are or were Newbies.

It is just a small drain on the battery, but yes, over time it could kill the battery. You may have a battery on/off switch located next to your battery. I know our unit has this and if it is going to be unplugged for an extended period of time, I shut the battery drain off. I put in a 30 amp outlet out in my back yard so we can keep our unit plugged in all the time. Even use it sometimes on the weekend if we have an overflow of company!

Many TT have a battery disconnect switch installedthat kills all power out from the battery back to the Power distribution center. Not to hard to install one your self

If you look at ours with all the lights out in the dark, you can see it still has a blue light on so you can see the display. Not much of a drain but it is there. Maybe yours is different.
