We just bought a new jayco eagle 338 2018. Anyway we looked at most of the trailers on tge lot and noticed all of the floors bubbling up. The one we got didnt seem to have that problem. Well we took it out the first time and found a few wrinkles and bubbling up like the others on the lot. What is this defective glue. The dealership told us that the floors werent glued and it is a floating floor. They said it does that to compensate for expansion. It will go away by itself with temperature differences and also if it were to be glued then the floor would tear well obviously this dealership repair shop hasnt a clue. It wong just go away it needs to be fixed. This i am sure is going to be a real big cost for Jayco in warranty service calls as the trend is every one they have built in 2018 has the same problem on every unit
We're on our 5th camper, Pup, HTT, TT, 5er, and back to small TT. Never experienced any bubbles in any of the flooring. Take pics and contact Jayco directly.
I had a class A a few years back that I had commercial grade linoleum installed professionally and witnessed it being glue down thoroughly. Stayed in it a month then put it in storage for two months. When I returned I had large bubbles in it and was told by others it was a very hot and wet period while I was gone. So figured that had to be the reason of it bubbling. After about a month staying in it again all went back to normal as far as the bubbles. We had it another two years after that and it never reoccurred. We were surprised, but we still don't think it is normal but then again we are not flooring experts. We definitely didn't have any wrinkling though, just some bubbling.
