I reinforced my bumper and fabricated a receiver hitch. I don't believe it will support much weight unless reinforced for very long.

I recall the static load capacity being 100#, but I can't see to recall where that was documented. Might have come from an email I sent to Jayco regarding the same situation on my first TT. Problem with hauling bikes is its a dynamic load, way more that 100# of force bouncing down the road.

I, and many other, had frame to frame receivers fabricated and welded to our TT. On my current TT I gave away the factory Cargo/Bike rack and replaced it with a 2" receiver so I can use a hitch mounted bike rack. Getting a receiver fabricated and welded on around here is $300 -- very much worth it.

Found the capacity in the manual, says 100 lbs , can I get a few pictures of your custom hitch installs I'm thinking about reinforcing the bumper and using those bolt on hitch recievers. I think the 100 lbs is light and a cop out 9 jaycos part I see several of these bolt on units on all types of rv's
