Bunk ladder ideas

I have a 242BHS, which has a curved bunk bed entrance and bathroom door at one side and fridge at other.
What have others used for this setup for a ladder? I'm thinking of making a very narrow vertical one. Also any ideas on something to act like a crib front on the bottom bunk to keep the 1 year old from crawling out during the night?

We used a road type ladder. Except it was made of webbing. It was made for a jet ski

I made one for my daughter & sil for their bunk beds. Vertical and attached to all 3 bunks.
Think i used 1 x 2, spaced steps comfortable for 2 grandsons. Routed out about a 3rd of the wood for each step & glued and screwed.

Was comfortable on bare feet.

Made my own with basic lumber, screws. Also attached a grab handle above the top bunk. Worked well for kiddos, stable. And curtain easily fit around it.
