Cable TV issue.

I've ran into a problem, this is the first time we've tried the cable hookup on our TT. I turned off the antenna booster, the tv in the dining area works, the bedroom and outside connections don't. I moved the tv that worked from the dining area to the bedroom and it doesn't work there. Anyone have an idea what to check next? Every tv has been rescanned on the cable setting. The antenna setting works everywhere.

Sounds like possibly a splitter might have failed or is not hooked up so that the signal doesn't go to the other rooms. Couldn't begin to tell ya where to look. I would just try to follow the cable best you can to locate a splitter.

Edit, doh, I reread the post and your last line shots the splitter thought down. Sorry, I'm not sure why it's not working. I've read that cable can be finicky, though.

It's going in for some warranty work and hail damage repair later this year, I'll add that to the list which so far is just taillights and one ceiling light. Glad I finally tried it, warranty is out the end of January. We're camping now, I'll do some experimenting when we get home.

I got so fed up with the way my cable was installed in my camper I pulled it all out and ran all new wire. There were splitters that weren't needed, and it appears Jayo had about 50 of extra cable they wanted to get rid of because the routing from the cable input at the rear of the camper to the front TV crossed back and forth twics for no reason.
