Camco flip-up Shelf Won't Fold Down Fully

I installed a Camco flip-up shelf but it did not fold down completely, which bothered me because it wasted precious space. No matter how carefully I measured with their installation templates, it just wouldn't work.


So I ended up doing this. It's not pretty but it works.

That is a very clever solution. May try that on mine. I installed mine in the same place.
