Camping with TV attached

We are planning our first long trip 824 miles each way; Milpitas to Bryce Canyon in Utah. For two nights during the trip we will just stay overnight. We will have shore power but no sewer. Assuming that we can level for the refrigerator, are there other items that we need to be concerned with:
1. Should we put the stabilizers down?
2. Should we disconnect the umbilical cord?
3. Other things to consider

I just try to make sure I am fairly level. I do drop my Tongue Jack just to take some of the weight off the TV and I always disconnect my 7 way plug when connected to Shore Power. I don't extend the stabilizers at all.

You should be fine. I do try to get fairly level, not just for the frig, but also to make sleeping more comfortable.

I often do not put the stabilizers down, the camper will bounce a bit more than usual, when moving around. If you are connected to shore power, there is no reason you should have to disconnect the 7 pin, but I usually do.

Happy Travels

I do the opposite of what Marcm157 does. I do not drop my tongue, I do not disconnect 7 way plug and I do drop my stabilizers so I don't get seasick trying to sleep

We just did an 800 mile trip each way with an overnight stay where we did not disconnect. We got a level site, dropped the tongue jack, extended the stabilizers, and disconnected the 7 pin connector. Nice comfortable night with no movement. The next morning, raised the stabilizers and tongue jack, plugged in the 7 pin and off we went.

I camp connected all the time when doing quick overnights. Just be ready to pull the plug, hitch pin, chains, and break line in case the camper catches fire.

I came to a couple of cg now and I'm still hook up, I'm not level because my truck sit up high which is no problem but now my fridge is not working right, could this be the reason why because I'm not level?

Can you let some air out of the air bags?
That would lower the front of the trailer a bit.
Air back up when you pull out and on the road again.

Not working right?......meaning it's not cooling as expected based on prior usage?
Lots of chatter on being level for the refer to operate at peak efficiency.
Next time you unhook and move the truck out and get level, check the refer for proper operation and likely, you will have your answer.

I have been "off level" a few times with no adverse refer operation that could be noticed.

We leave the TV & TT connected when it's an overnight stay too. Just disconnect the 7 way plug, drop the tongue, four stabilizers to level the trailer, make hook-ups as needed and call it good.

Since most of our overnights are in basically a parking space, we "unhitch" as little as possible. No slide, no stab jacks, no tongue jack, truck is still connected (except for the 7-way if I remember).

We pull in, flip open the tonno cover, fire up the genny, plug the trailer in (assuming we need AC, if not we don't use the genny), walk the dog, wash our face and we're in bed. Next morning, we have a quick breakfast, reverse last night's steps, top off fuel and we're out.

If I were stopped in a place where I had shore power available, I'd plug us into that (regardless of need for AC), but otherwise, I'd leave everything else alone.

If I'm using this kind of stop, I'm trying to get somewhere as fast as possible. A stop like that is simply for some rest. I want to get in and out with as little "fuss" as possible.
