Can i use any digital thermostat???

I have a 04 jayflight 29bhs and want to change the stock crap thermostat,I want to upgrade to a digital one with a clock,can i use any kind or do i have to use one made specifically for a TT?And my a/c controls are on the ceiling so need one really just to control the furnace if it makes any difference.Any help or advice would be appreciated

You can use just about any digital thermostat to control the heat - as long as it takes batteries for the power source. All you are doing is closing a set of relay contacts.

A lot of folks get the inexpensive Hunter at Walmart, but Lowes, Home Dept, etc all carry quite a few of them. If you search here and around Google there are a ton of good posts with pictures and info - but it is a really simple and nice mod to do.
