Can my roof support me

I was installing a Haloview camera on my 2018 285 RLSW Baja Edition and while moving the ladder down the side running the extension cable I noticed the front of the air conditioner cover wasn't on right. I would also like to inspect my lap sealant.
My problem is I go 275 lbs.
I messaged Jayco support and was told it's rated for 250lbs.
How can they boast about their magnum truss.
Has larger individuals get up on their SLX 8 roofs.

It's based on lbs per sq/ft.

I am 350 and have been on my roof, should be the exact same as yours spread the weight and you will be fine. If you have a rear ladder that is rated around 250.

Get a 4'x4' 3/4" inch of plywood. Kneel on that when you are on the roof as it will distribute your weight evenly between the trusses.

I use a couple of plywood strips and move them around as needed.
