Cant find part needed. HELP

While learning the new to us 2002 jayco qwest I took apart what i thought was a drain under the bathroom sink. I had to remove a clip ( looked like a staple kinda ) that held down a "T" style handle. I have misplaced the clip that held it down.Where can i find a replacement. Any help i greatly appreciated.
Picture attached for reference.

Make one from a piece wire from the same thickness. All what it does is keeps the valve from popping out and holding it.

It's a spring clip and many ACE hrdwr have them in their specialty fastener boxes. HD may have them too.
