Can't get the furnace to stay on.

I've got a 2015 jayco eagle 305 bhs. I can't keep the furnace going. Pilot light comes on and fan then shuts off after about 30 seconds. Gas is working on the stove. Any quick ideas that I should check?

Sounds like. Dirty or bad sail switch.

To access the sail switch on most RVs, you need to disconnect and pull the furnace out.

We went through this a month ago and it ended up being the regulator at the propane tanks. It was allowing too much pressure. The tech that found the problem by checking the pressure coming into our stove and it was a couple pounds more than it is supposed to be which makes the furnace kick on and off.

Before he checked the pressure, he turned one of the stove burners on high. He said the flame was too tall which told him it had too much pressure. Then he disconnected the fuel tube to the burner and used a gauge to confirm it. I can't remember what the exact pressure should be, but 11.5 pounds comes to mind and ours was closer to 13.

He also said to make sure you turn the tanks off when traveling to prevent the diaphragm in the regulator from going bad from pressure fluctuations.

I have never heard of not leaving the gas on while traveling causing regulator failure. Atmospheric pressure goes up and down with the weather. Regulators do fail and if it fixed GTX's problem that was great.
But the most obvious cause of failure to keep running at 30 seconds is sail switch failure. Before I pulled it out I would also make sure the fan air flow was good. Could be a blockage in the vent going in and out of the furnace. Also, inspect the outside for blockage and potential wasp nests.

To be clear, the regulator was the FIRST thing he checked and it fixed our problem. We are living in our RV while our home is being built so this was a mobile guy. He got here around 10am and said it was the 2nd regulator he had to replace that day. Take that as you will but it sounds fairly common.

Agree with jagiven.
I had the same problem. Replaced the sail switch for free under warranty.
Good luck
