CCA vs. OFC wiring

Hello all:

I'm planning on adding a coach battery cutoff switch to my 224bh.

I've got a switch picked out, but now I need to buy some 10 ga. stranded cable.

It seems as though on Amazon that most such cable is CCA (copper coated aluminum), rather that OFC (oxygen free copper).

I am hoping that some on the forum could weigh in as to their preferences, their experiences with either, and possibly even preferred vendors.

Thank you,
Frank

My opinion!!

Aluminum wire breaks from vibration and have to have correct connectors and terminals for aluminum. Also the use of anti-oxyidizing paste should be used.

Use copper, with extra flex strand rating, regular strand wire has 7 strands of wire. Extra flex has at least twice the strands (like used in a good extension cord).

I use welding cable in the appropriate gauge as it is extremely flexible, readily available and you can find it at great prices on the Internet.
