Ceiling Jack

Can someone please tell me what this jack is for??? It is on the ceiling of my 2019 Jayco Featherlight. I bought a RV fan and light thinking that it would plug into this port, but the plug in on the fan is way too small for the hole in the jack. The total diameter of the plastic is about 2 inches.

Can I take the jack on this fan and make it work with the Jayco port? What adapter would I need?

Thanks!

It is a power jack. You may have the wrong fan/light.

This is the fan/light that plugs into that ceiling fixture.

You can change the plug on that fan to a 1/4" mono plug, like one of these:

You'd have to check to see which one would be the power and which one is the ground. Our old hybrid only came with one light/fan combo, so I made another light out of an old 12 volt RV light, some lamp cord, and a plug like this.
