Changing flat tire on 2017 WhiteHawk 27'

Can anyone suggest the best tire changing aid for my 2017 Whitehawk?
I am contemplating the Anderson Rapid Jack. The 2017 WH has a wide stance (axles are farther apart) so wondering if the Rapid Jack will still lift high enough to change tire. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Since we just got our trailer this week I haven't had the chance to try it but the sales manager of the dealer where we bought ours suggested a leveling block to put under the tire of the (other axle) to lift the flat tire off the ground. I'm a little skeptical if it would really lift the flat tire off the ground, especially, enough to get a new tire on but it "might" work.

I have a similar leveling block and when I level my TT, this device never lifts the other axle off the ground. I might have to put several 2x10" under the leveler to lift the axle enough to change tire. Thanks for the reply. I will keep searching the best device.

How about a simple bottle jack under the axle end?

That will definitely work but I was trying to make life easier. Simply rolling onto a device that lifts the other axle is my goal. I might have to buy a bottle jack just in case. Thank you for your input.

I doubt anything like a TireAide will work. I would recommend doing a google and YouTube search and see what others have come up with.

I have a traditional stance on my HTT, I have a large leveling ramp for both wheels at my house (very sloped driveway) If I run one tire up, the ramp the other wheel is suspended in mid air. However with the wide stance how much ramp would you need??

I would purchase a bottle jack. I would size it for the next tonnage up from the entire weight of the TT. If you go to light the jack will struggle. I have a 2 ton (4K pound)jack, and a 5K pound HTT, I can tell it struggles to lift a single wheel. It technically is not overloaded.

Thanks for your input. I guess I will look into a bottle jack.

I have a 3 ton bottle jack for my 2½ ton X213. Hope I never have to use it.

Bottle jack is simple to use, and fits any trailer. My tire changing kit: Bottle jack, and scraps of 2x6 for blocking, or jacking up on soft ground. Cordless impact for lug nuts, hand cleaner and rags, spare hub assembly. Reflective safety vest and LED headlamp. 12-volt inflator and tire plug kit. All fits into a toolbox dedicated for tire "stuff". Also, good idea to practice changing the tire in your driveway first, so you know where to place the jack, remove the spare, etc. I want to be as fast as possible. One of my biggest fears is getting clipped on the side of the road by a distracted driver, especially in the dark.

I mad my own "leveling boards" out of pressure treated 2x6s. short enough to fit between the two wheels of my WH. two each of a double layer, and two each of a single layer all with angle cut ends to make them easy to pull onto. I have found that in order to get the second axle off the ground I have to pull up onto a stack of all of them. Essentially, two double layer 2x6s and the two single layer. works out to slightly more than a 9 inch total lift.

Quick Change Trailer Jack

I have used this on on my 25ft pontoon boat and it worked great with the tandem axles - I keep it in my truck but have not tried it on the trailer with the wider width....

I made sure the stock jack on my F-150 worked on the trailer before I made my first trip. It did, so why carry 2 jacks? I did have to buy a different lug nut wrench because the F-150 lug nuts are not the same size and the trailer tire lug nuts.

I also carry a bottle jack. Pretty straight forward process.

I carry, and have unfortunately had to use, a bottle jack. I tried the TrailerAid with our WH and it doesn't work with the wide stance axles.
