Charging 6 volt RV batteries

Hi friends. I’ve removed my 2 6 volt RV batteries and brought them inside. Can I hook them up in series and charge them in the off season? It gets to -26c up here in northern British Columbia so they’re in my heated basement. Thanks for the help.

Hooked together in series, they're essentially a 12v battery, so your 12v charger is ideal.

Don't forget to check water levels. If you want you can also let them rest after charging all the way up and checking their individual voltage to make sure one of them is not going bad.

Yes, in series. How did you have them in the rig? They would have been running off of the charge system there as 12volts, I hope.
