I did a dumb thing and parked under a mostly dead tree. Caught a branch that scuffed my roof and poked a small hole in the rubber. When I went up to fix the damage I checked very caulk seam and joint. The factory caulk job left a bit to be desired. The antenna needed more caulk, the shower skylight, bathroom fan and the seam between the front cap and roof all had voids that would have led to leaks. Even dumb mistakes can end up positive. Wouldn't have found the voids if I hadn't been on my hands and knees fixing the scuff and hole.
I did document the fact that the roof is quite rippled in the curbside rear corner when we did our PDI so the 5er is going in next week for that and a couple of other warranty issues.
Check your roofs guys....a little Dicor can save you a lot of headaches and cash down the road.
