cleaning around storge doors

Does anybody have suggestions for cleaning the sort of plastic-like molding around the outside of the storage doors? Mine have developed black spots that have resisted everything that I've tried so far.

I just cleaned mine today with Dawn dish washing liquid and then went over them with armor all.

We have the same spots around two of the doors, and I don't think anything will get rid of them completely. We've even tried Reliable cleaner, which removes just about anything. The insert material is cheap, and easily replaced.

Just did mine last week. Bleach and a soft brush worked fine. (The brush was needed.)

Did you clean them on, or removed from the trailer?

I couldn't imagine taking them off.....more trouble than it would be worth.

No, they were cleaned in place...

First I used Clorox cleanup, and that did 90% of it, but then Boat 9 took care of the rest.

I must say that our RV is 5 years old now, and this was the first time it came thru the winter with the problem.

Thanks, I'll give it a go. Appreciate the tip.
