Coffee pot question - Jayco Jay Flight 22 ft travel

I thought I was all good, bought a Bonsen Coffee Maker, just read the setup and it states "appliance is rated power of 1,000W, before plugging it into wall outlet, ensure electrical circuit is not overloaded with appliances. This appliance should always be operated on a separate 120V-60Hz outlet.

I notice the other coffee makers out there also state 120V and the Kerig one cup is 60Hz/1470W.

Can I use this in the travel trailer? It is a Jayco Jay Flight SLX 195RB Travel Trailer. I could call the dealership, but they haven't been great on answering questions.

Thoughts? And/or if you have one of the small travel trailers, what type coffee maker do you recommend?

New and trying to put this all together before a hurricane does decide again to head out way. Fortunately Laura went left and looks like Sally will follow her path. Praying for those that will see Sally.

It should be run on its own circuit and by itself. Let the toaster and A/C wait. Coffee makers draw a lot of power. We have a Black and Decker something. Second one.. the first just stopped making more than two ounces of coffee without a beating.

and it will not be usable at all unless plugged into shore power. We carry a coffee maker and also a Mug Mate that we can put ground coffee in and pour in boiling water when we are boondocking.

If a loss of power is in your future the Mug Mate or something similar gets the day off to at least a civil start

MSR Mugmate is on Amazon

We carry a small percolator for those no AC times. Also doubles as a water heater if needed.

When camping we use a Mr Coffee and we take care to not have anything plugged into the circuit until it finishes dripping.

We use a regular drip coffee maker, and it gets plugged into an outside outlet on the GFCI circuit. The toaster plugs into the outlet under the dinette table, so they can both be used at the same time. If the weather's nasty, the coffee pot goes on the kitchen counter, and that plug's on the GFCI also. It just happened to work out that way.

Watts divided by volts equals amps. You should be fine on any 15 amp circuit that has the unused capacity. We plug ours into the gfci next to the sink.

We use a keurig single in our 195RB, I have also used it alongside an electric griddle with no issues, same outlet.

I use a Coleman drip coffeemaker on the stovetop. Eliminates any worries about power requirements.

I went to a French press to avoid the high electric requirements of coffee makers. Just a thought. Safe travels

Enjoy the journey

Moka pot or a French press, much better tasting coffee, small storage requirement, and little to no power needed

we bought a cheap coffee maker, but gave up and got a Coleman like this one.

https://smile.amazon.com/Coleman-200...s%2C233&sr=1-2

FYI, we got our at the local walmart for a lot cheaper than $43! Amazon is easy/convenient, but not always the best price!

I run this off my solar system, only 800 watts and uses K cups:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Also fairly cheap in the k cup coffee maker market.

we use a 10 cup Melitta pour over. There are only 2 of us and we aren't big coffee drinkers but enjoy starting our day with a good cup or 2. Just boil some water and away you go!! No power needed.

Percolator

We enjoy our percolator coffee pot. Especially useful when dry camping.

We use boiled water from the stove kettle in a French Press. Uses no electricity and just a bit of gas,

I use a kureg coffee maker in our camper with no issues. We also use a single-cup coffee maker that takes kureg cups but doesn't use electricity. You pour hot water into it and pump the top bellows to force the water through. This works for boondocking. Presto 02835 MyJo Single Cup Coffee Maker available on Amazon.

Same as at home just dont use anything else on that circuit. Also remember that at home you (usually) have 200 amp service in the RV you have 30,or 50 amp service
