Coleman Mach Fan Speed?

We just bought a 2016 Jay Flight 19RD. The Coleman Mach roof unit is really loud with the fan on high. Naturally, I thought I'd just switch to low speed, just like I did on my old popup.

The thermostat has two modes, "Auto" and "On" and each mode has a "High" and "Low" setting.

It appears that in "Auto" mode we can choose between high and low speed, but in "On" mode the speed stays the same. Does this sound right? Jayco said the fan speed should be adjustable, but the dealer said that Jayco stopped wiring the two speeds in a couple years ago.

Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: Dropped off the TT at the dealer yesterday. They talked with Coleman/Airxcel so hopefully we'll get it fixed and turned around quickly.

Are you referring to the AC or the Heat? On my trailer, neither setting has any affect, it always runs the same.
I will be interested to hear what you find out.

The hi/lo option works on both of my units when in the On position.

I wear hearing aids except when sleeping so I don't notice the extra sound, but checking it with my "ears in" it isn't that much of a difference on my units.

Just checked mine, and my Hi/Lo only works in the "Auto" setting. In the "Fan On" setting, I only get Lo fan speed.

Makes me want to check mine.

That being said, as far as noise goes, there isn't much difference between hi and lo...

On the phone, Jayco told me that the Lo/Hi should work in BOTH the Auto and On mode. Dealer took a couple days to make some calls last week, and they now seem to think the same thing...which led me to drop it off. Dealer has a really good service reputation, so I'm hoping to hear something back pretty quick...we have a couple trips planned already! :-)

Exclamation UPDATE: Resolution

The dealer did some troubleshooting last week, and found a small scorch mark on the thermostat circuit board. Thinking this was the problem, they ordered a new thermostat.

I brought the trailer back today for them to switch out thermostats...they had the TT 20 minutes and were done. They made some phone calls, put in the new thermostat, and then called AIRXCEL/Coleman when the fan still operated as before. And then we got our answer...

The tech gave me a copy of the installation literature from AIRXCEL/Coleman which clearly shows that in the "ON" position, the fan will only run at one speed, and that in the "AUTO" position, it will run at low or high speed.

The tech was concerned about that scorch mark on the circuit board, so although the unit was actually functioning properly it was good that we were able to have the thermostat switched out...and the dealer covered it as warranty work.
