Contemplating an upgrade to a 29RKS...
We have put a few miles on out 2013 Whitehawk DSBH... the Grand Canyon, Joshua Tree, Route 66, Yellowstone, Custer, Florida (twice)... we even stopped in at The SPAM Museum! But the time has come to begin thinking about a change.
So far, the top contender is a 29RKS. It looks like a nice floor plan, with good fit and finish.
Anyone have any input on this model? Pros and cons? The biggest option debate that I am wrestling with is whether I want to have the enclosed underbelly. I am all for insulation, but I kind of like to see if any problems arise underneath.

We recently took delivery of our 29 rks and just completed our maiden voyage and love the layout. I had the same concerns about enclosed underbelly but this unit had every thing we were looking for in storage/electrical outlets that other manufactures in this category just didn't have. Very spacious living area.opted for table and chairs which give it a very rich look.

Have not had any issues with doors or fridge opening at this point. Items have stayed in place better than expected using shelf liner may contribute to this.

I have owned 2 rear kitchen fifth wheels and one mid kitchen model. We can not notice any difference in things shaking and breaking.
Everything moves in rv that is not nailed down and even those can come loose depending on where you are and how you store stuff.

We put over 2500 miles on ours in September and had no issues with the rear kitchen. Love the layout. (Eagle 316RKDS, about the same as a 29RKS)
You do have to open the slide at least partway to get to the fridge. Some of the light switch locations are idiotic. The underbelly is fine..... as long as nothing goes wrong.

Thanks for the comments so far! At this point, I am still leaning towards the open underbelly. I like the access it provides should something need attention.

The rear kitchen, floorplan and counter height was the decision for us. we love our 29RKS. only been out once for 6 days 5 nights. Under belly was no issues. Heading to Grand Canyon this month to test it out with our dogs for the first time.

We have had our for less than a month. Love it. Couple of problems. BED***** sucks and that is the nicest thing I can say. My husband is 6"5 and when he set on it his feet dangle 6 inches above the floor. Mattress is a brick house. Very Very tight in the bedroom. My husband loved the idea of it when we bought that it had a regular mattress but now he says this will not work so I have bought a rv mattress that is shorter. Hoping this will help all the way around as I am only 5"4 so had to use a step stool to get in bed.
I cant reach the vent fan in the bathroom.
He almost knocked he self out on the slide inside putting something on the couch.
Other than that we really love the setup the space the look. No regrets.

Well, just as an update... The order has been placed!
Tumbleweed Interior
15k BTU Upgrade
Free Standing Table and Chairs
Hide a Bed
Cargo Accessory Receiver
Elite Package
32" TV
Roof Ladder
Kitchen Skylight
5 Way Remote
After a bit of going back and forth, I decided against the Glacier Package in favor of accessibility of the underbelly in case anything needs attention.
I will keep you posted as things progress!

32" I believe, sits within the enclosure. I think the optional 38 would be snug.

Yes the 32” tv is the best choice, tried 38” just too tight.

This is our second year with our 2017 29RKS, and it is a good choice as a couples travel trailer. It gives you a lot of storage space and a very functional layout.

Any updates on how you all like your trailers and any advise on how to make the most from this model?

Invest in some spring loaded storage bars, road conditions can be disruptive to fridge and cabinets.
