Converter Fan running continuously ?

My fridge won’t work on electricity and now my converter fan runs continuously when plugged into shore power. I disconnected batteries and it shut off. I tested my batteries and the read 12.4. I think 12.6 is the magic number, right? Are they dead? Is why the fan is running because converter trying charge batteries?
Any ideas?
The coach has battery power…lights, pump, radio works.

Generally when the converter is under load the fan will run.
A bit more info would be helpful.
Fridge wont work on electricity? What type of refrigerator do you have?
How old are your batteries, and have they been over discharged?
Bad batteries may have the proper voltage but can't supply the amps. Charge your battery / batteries and most auto stores will load test them as voltage isn't always a good indicator of battery condition.

The fan ended up cycling off. I unplugged the shore power over night. Plugged it back in the morning, fan ran for about 45 mins. The batteries fully charged by 11am yesterday before we headed out. Thanks for the help.
