Converting couch to dining area

Hello all- need some input if possible

We have a 184bh which we love...me n wifey +4 yr old and small dog.

We never really convert the bed back to the dinette just cos it's a PIA. However if weather is cold we sometimes have to.

What I've been thinking about is taking out the couch and replacing it with a small table and chairs \benches where we can eat, play games at night etc.

Space is at a premium I know, but wondering whether anyone has done this- any feedback or am I barking up wrong tree here?

I've searched the forum but can't see anything on this...

I don;t know about removing the couch altogether, I think the heater and converter are underneath. Forum user smacdonald put a separate table in to use with the couch:

Wow. That's the opposite of what I want to do. Rather have a sofa than dinette.

I did that once on this forum, a guy with a f150 with a jump seat in front wanted the center council, and I wanted the jump seat so I could seat 6 in a pinch. We made the swap and everyone was happy.
