In Colorado, we get two versions of the paper registration, one of which does not have your address, with instructions to keep that one in your vehicle.

I had it in the TT at one point but removed it and forgot to put it back in the TT or TV. My reasoning for removing it at the time was to keep my home address and name out of equation if someone ever broke into the camper.

Ours resides in the tow vehicle with the vehicle registration. This way it is handy without having to open the trailer.

Registration stays in the TV as 5er is never going anywhere without it. In MA your registration is also your proof of insurance, though we also carry a “proof” letter as some states don’t recognize the registration as the proof of insurance.
