I have a cover on my 28bhs that has the rain Gutter Extensions on it. The gutter extensions are putting holes in my cover how do you prevent this?

IIRC,some cut tennis balls and put one on each gutter extension.

I use swimming pool noodles and cut them about 4 inches long, slip them over the rain gutters them carefully put the cover on over them.
Has worked for several years niw.
