Crawling around under new camper

So as you know it was pretty nice today so when I got home from work took my son out to play. While he was playing on his gym set, I crawled under the camper to look around. Wow Jayco does a crazy good job stuffing all the holes with foam under the camper. But towards the front of the camper looks like they cut out like a 4 inch by 2 inch triangle and kinda stuffed it back in the hole. Don't see anything up in there, does anyone else have this. Does anyone know of anything they sell to cover it that would be weather resistant. I do have the glacier package. I will have to check the hole closer with a flashlight, hard to do with a 3 year old wanting to be where ever you are. Looks like it may be along the frame. Also noticed some extra drains, more then what my old camper had. Can't wait to uncover and de winterize to learn all about it. Well like to just add spring is finally here, now we need warmer weather. Just wanna say Congratulations to all the new camper owners out there and wish you all luck. And to all us old and new campers happy camping and be safe.

I can relate with the 3 year old running around... I haven't had 1 day yet to go to the trailer without her. Next week after Easter I should get some time.

Crawling around under new camper

Maybe a electrical junction box.

Don’t know what it is for, but to seal it. Try some Gorilla Tape. Per their website it will make the joint water tight. It sticks like you cannot believe. But if you ever do need into the cavity you could cut it open. But it will not make it Mouse proof.

I remember a hole under my 2005 Jay Feather LGT that was near the front. IIRC it was a junction box for the battery leads and the trailer lights/brakes wires on the rear end of the cable that plugs into the back of the tow vehicle.

I wish I could go out and crawl under my new trailer but it isn't here yet! Still waiting patiently but the snow is melting fast and I'm getting restless
