creaky spots in floor

Own a 2016 Jayco Whitehawk 33 RSKS for a year now and a small area just inside entry door going towards Refrigerator and a small area in rear entertainment area in front of couch under carpet creaks pretty loud when stepping on them. My neighbor owns a new Cedar Creek FW and he has same problem in certain spots of his camper floor. Service manager told him they can fix that is scheduled for it. Anyone else experiencing this and what is involved in this repair.

I've got a couple creaks too. Rather annoying. To properly fix they would have to rip up the vinyl floor and add additional screws to the cross members, then re-lay the vinyl floor. Not really something I want to go through... I'll just take the squeaky floor, reminds me of my squeaky old wood floors at home =)!

It might not be necessarily the floor. It can be the fasteners from cabinets, walls or dinette benches etc.. Sometimes tighten them or install an extra screw will help.

We have this problem too with our 2016 tt. Ours seems to be over axle. Just figured it was for that reason. Will have to look a little closer. Annoying for sure especially when someone up earlier than everyone. I try to avoid that spot. It reminds me up skipping certain stairs that creaked when I used to sneak out of house at night as teenager, lol.

We have a 2017 RBS which we have had for a few months. We have floor squeaks as well. They are more noticeable above axle. I'm an early riser so makes it hard moving about in trailer sometimes without waking the missus.

Hi Guys. First time post. I have a 2016 28BHBE that has the creak from the fridge all the way across to the dinette. Our owner of the seasonal park we are at, used to sell the Jayco line. He said he has fixed a few over the years. Get at it from under the trailer, cut a hashtag line in the membrane and peel back. Use cedar splints to jam up in between the two plywood sheets. Break off excess splint so its flush. tape back the membrane with quality RV tape. This we did because our dealer said they would not cover under warranty.
