Curtain length

Hey all, we just took delivery of our '14 198rd. Love the trailer and layout. There are a couple things that I'm thinking about bringing to the dealers attention, and one question I am unsure about is the length of the blind over the emergency exit window. It seems significantly shorter than the others. It covers all but about an inch of the glass and not the lower frame. I'm wondering if this is normal to ensure the red exit latches are always visible/accessible? Are your trailers similar to this?

It's a good inch or two too short from what I see. Is this what everyone else's is like? There's sun that gets through the gap and hits the couch.

Same as ours. I think it is a safety feature.

Just an update if anyone cares - the dealer fixed this for me under warranty. They made longer side valences, covered them with the same material, and installed a longer blind that now covers the whole window and blocks out all the light. My advice? Don't settle for things that aren't right!

Nice dealer! You may also want to cover the top of the couch when not in use. My couch faded and Jayco would not replace as they said it was normal for a couch to fade within the first year?!
