DC Power Issues

2021 Jayfeather 24RL:

Returned from a camping trip two days ago. All systems appeared to be working OK.

Today, the slide or awning will not extend. The lights won't come on. When hooked up to shore power, microwave and A/C work ok.

Battery shows 13.4 V and fully charged.

Checked circuit breakers OK. Sounds like a DC or Battery fuse problem. Where should I start to look for the solution?

the 30 amp closest to the battery. Just about every time there's a post such as yours, that's the culprit. Especially if you have a power hitch jack and went past the line that says don't go past this line.

Thanks, Muck.

The jack works, but I believe it's wired directly to the battery. Where would that 30 amp fuse be located? Is it on the frame near the battery or is it in the inside panel?

At the power block where the battery wires enter the trailer. It's usually hanging with a black rubber/plastic cover on it. If the jack is working, I may be completely wrong. Just getting that out up front.

Is there a battery disconnect switch that may have accidentally been activated?

I have the exact same camper with the exact same issue. My fuse near the battery was blown at one point (because I was running AC and used the slide at the same time) but has now been replaced but still nothing unless the on board battery is fully charged. If I wiggle the fuse box right inside the camper door the power comes on. I don’t understand

Need to inspect inside the box you are wiggling when power comes back for loose connections.
