Dead Battery in tow vehicle

Just bought a used 2007 Jayco Jay feather. Parked to on the street until I decide where to keep in parked. I left it plugged into my 2012 Chevy Colorado for two days. Now the truck battery is dead. So dead that even the power windows will not work.
I have it on a battery charger now. Been on charge for 16 hours now, still dead. What should I check first?

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forums (JOF).

Most newer battery chargers cannot charge a battery that is completely run down which sounds like the case for you. You could leave the dead battery on the charger and then use jumper cables from another vehicle to your Colorado and once the charger kicks in, it should charge up the battery again. Older transformer type chargers would also work if you have one or have a friend with one, just charge it up an hour or two then go back to your newer charger. ~CA

Thanks Everybody Between the really dead battery and an old charger, That caused the problem. Oh well, Time to call AAA. With all this stress with setting up this trailer, Maybe I need "AA" instead. Sorry just trying to make a joke.
