decided not to get the eagle

thank you for everyones input on rv direct. after many talks around the campfire we decided going 3.5 feet longer was not a good thing for us. we measured a few of our favorite sites and we would not be able to fit in them. but......we have always regretted trading in our tent trailer on our jayco mainly because we only got 300 bucks for it and we also could not go way off the beaten path anymore. so we found a used 2012 jay series model 1007 sitting on the lot in boise and got an excellent deal on it. we had a good time on the way home following the oregon trail.
we are very happy with the decision. we had it so dirty last weekend you could not tell what color it was. we can take it way up in the mountains where the big trailer would not go and as a bonus, the outside stove of the tent trailer fits where the barbecue grill goes on the 23fb so those of you that like to cook outside that is a very nice setup!! very happy with that.Click image for larger version
