I am hoping they drag it out long enough for the snow and salt to dry off the roads before my new unit gets towed in the slop.

We ordered our 32bhds last friday and were told it would be done at the end of March and at the dealer the 2nd week of April. The 6 weeks sounds like the norm.

When we ordered ours I was given a production week date about 3 days after confirming with the deposit. It was about 6 weeks after I placed the order. Jayco should have your order and date set in the system. Most components are ordered after the PO is issued to them from the ordering dealer. Once ours was built it was delivered to the dealer within 2 weeks of coming off line.

Your dealer should be able to confirm a week that your trailer will be built. The factors would be pending orders and vendor shipments or shortages.

Our trailer took a long time for delivery. Christmas and New Years holidays really slowed things down. On top of that we were hit with several bad snow storms in the mid west. We had to wait nearly two months.

Ordered ours July 26 knowing it would be built August 18, 2011. Picked it up one week later August 25. I had my vin# August 11 a week before it was built to give to my insurance co. It seems to me that your dealer should be able to narrow down some sort of build date for you.

We were given the "born" date and the pickup date (we picked it up in Middlebury). Born date was 09/09/2009. We took delivery the next week

We placed our order on 2/7/12 and received word yesterday that Jayco was projecting a 3/8/12 production date. One month from order to production.

I'd expect they group trailers into "similar" production runs. If you order a type "A" and they are set to begin that run soon (and can fit your order in the lineup) then you get it quicker.
Probably not like ordering an F-150 where they're all made on the same line and that's the only thing built there.

When we ordered our new 5ver yrs ago, we were given a ph# and was able to contact Jayco Factory to follow the process and shipping date. Don't know if they still do that. Our 2k12 model TT we bought off the dealer's lot.
