dexter suspension kit

Hello all
After two trips logged I do not feel like a noob, got used to the noisy axles and hitch. Have convinced the gf to use my ram 1500 2012 5.7l hemi to pull instead of her 2011 dodge 1500 4.7l which of course everyone kept telling her it would pull fine. Of course giving he choice I would rather have a 3/4 ton to pull with but it seems like it will handle it ok. The test will come next month when we go from Houston to Spokane Wa. All that aside I have gained alot of insight and knowledge from this site and really appreciate it, so before running out and buying this suspension kit I was wondering if anyone has done a mod like this and what your opinions are. handydan1,

I purchased the Dexter Axle kit a few years ago, installed everything except the Dexter supplied equalizer (reason noted in JOF link below).

My installation: http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f3...ll-2540-2.html

Not sure which TT you have, I looked into the E-Z Flex also but they dont make a kit for the wide spaced axles that come on some of these TTs...Good Luck

New axle shackles? How loud can they be from inside the cab driving down the road? Or are they loud when sitting in the campsite?
