Didn't look right.

I ordered some furnace vent screens for my 26bh that were 2 7/8" in diameter.
This is how it looked once installed.
Am I correct in that there should not be a gap between the siding and the part that pops out?
I measured, then ordered the 4" diameter. Hoping I'm doing right.

They make a square screen that should fit over the entire exhaust. That one is not right.

What Grumpy said. I have quite the collection of those things that I swap from rig to rig. I think I have every one they make by now.

No it definitely doesn't look right! And doesn't serve its purpose.

That’s the wrong size. My first trailer was the same as yours. The screen for that on mine was round but a larger diameter.

Been there, done that, got the tee shirt. If you go to this page, you can look up the exact screen needed for your furnace:

Insect Screens

All you need to know is the furnace manufacturer and model. Good luck!

I think you can choose a Camco screen based on just measurements - but be sure to measure the *depth* needed!

Didn't look right.

I'd gotten a screen from Camping World that I thought would fit. Ended up working it over with pliers and a rubber mallet to make it work. It doesn't look good, but it does the job.

That is an Atwood furnace vent, I put one on mine just this afternoon and it was a good, tight fit.

It was a Camco screen and I think the 3-3/4" round one. It fit the square outlet perfect. Not one insect can enter around it.

I will measure it in the morning and report back.

Where can I order one of these? I have been needing to install one but have been unsuccessful in finding one. I have established a No Confidence policy with Camping World... Also, anyone have recommendations for sealing the gaps around the water heater access panel/exhaust to prevent bee/wasp access?
