Question Difference in temps

Did the digi thermostat mod. Went out and cranked up generator, put air on, temp in trailer was 94, about 1/2 hour later temp was down to 90. Thermostat is on the hallway wall by the bathroom. The trailer living room was getting real cool but the thermostat still read 90 degrees but the thermostat I had in the living room read 84.There was no air blowing on it from the air conditioner.I think the thermostat was put in the wrong place Does anybody else have this problem. It seems to me that where the thermostat is no air vent in the hallway and when going in the hallway it is hotter than the rest of the trailer. Thanx Ernie

I put in a digital stat and it is very slow to respond to temp changes - not sure why - maybe the wall is not cooling down and it is picking up heat from it? Maybe since it is designed for residential, it has a slow response to prevent over cycling?

You could have the same problem. I am going to look at a different model when I have some time.
